Bali outshines the travel world, as a favourite holiday destination for many Australian travellers, particularly those living in the west. And why wouldn’t you, when you can get to Bali quicker from Perth, than if you jumped in your car and drove to Margaret River!

It may be cheaper too!

The lure of Bali is hardly surprising with its tropical weather and constant smiling locals. After all, this is the Island of the Gods. You can practically hear the lapping sound of the waves, the bustle of the shopping streets and alleys, the clatter of glasses and plates. Of course there is the plethora of hotels with big swimming pools and bars too.

Bali living is all about the gentle slow pace of life in a tropical paradise. From volcanic mountains and stretches of beaches, to swathes of rice paddies and coral reefs. Everywhere you look, there is a pervasive aura of spirituality. Every street and house has a small temple dedicated to past family members.
